JAMAICAN SLAW
  • 1 pound (1/2 kilo) purple cabbage, finely chopped (and/or radicchio)
  • 5 red habanero (or 10-12 red jalapeƱo) -- (5 to 6) peppers, not seeded - minced
  • 1 large purple onion, finely chopped
  • 6 large cloves garlic, finely minced -- (6 to 7)
  • 6 round red radishes, grated
  • 2 Tablespoons minced cilantro
  • 1/2 cup lime juice (about 6-8 limes)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
    1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. It is better to mix the vegetables together first before adding the lime juice and seasonings. Stir thoroughly. Taste and adjust the seasonings as desired.

    2. Refridgerate for 24 hours before serving
