SOUTHERN DEER BURGER
  • 2 lbs ground deer meat
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
    1. Combine all of the ingredients except the oil in a bowl, and squeeze with your hands until evenly mixed. Shape into half-pound burgers (roughly a fist-sized ball of meat, flattened). Heat the oil in a medium skillet and fry the burgers, turning, until done
