BEAR LOAF
  • 2 lb ground bear meat
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup onion, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
    1. Preheat oven at 350 F
    2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl
    3. Shape into a loaf
    4. Put it into a 8 x 4 non stick loaf pan
    5. Bake at 350 until done (about 1 hour)
    6. Last 15 minutes of cooking smear bbq sauce on top of loaf
